I hate DST, keep wondering why I am eating so late. Then Oh wait its an hour earlier really. Its so annoying.

The year was 1971,I was a Navy Corpsman assigned to Portsmouth Naval Hospital on Pediatric Surgery Intensive Care. An 11 year old boy lay dying of spinal cancer, but, still alive when I left my watch. Around 2330 hrs I want in to check on him, and, his Corpsman was sitting by his side,I want to turn him over, see his face, he had died in minutes between shift change. The Chaplain was summoned ,and, I was helping inventory his belongings when I ran across his baseball cap, and, I could feel my heart break as tears ran down my face, all I could do was look at the Chaplain, and ask "why". I never forgot Robby, I can't, his Dad was in Vietnam when Robby became so badly ill, yet, he wasn't next to Robby's bed. His Dad came home to be with Robby and his Mom, I heard he returned to Vietnam a week after the Funeral...Sacrifice, yes there is sacrifice, somebody has to make it so we can sleep in peace at night. God bless you Robby, your Daddy still lives you, I still think of You...RIP Doc Mike USN

I like that if the tall black gentleman didn't get up to have the young fellow dance the others would have been still playing Bingo, I listen to this song and tears were coming down my face. I like something like this there should be more of these for older people just like me, it got them out of their seats and dance to an exercise. that means that they can live again. Job well done.
